About Pick n Pay at Carlton Centre
Pick n Pay was named as a Carlton Centre tenant in 2023 reporting. In September 2024, reporting on Transnet’s plans said Shoprite would take over the roughly 3,000 m² former Pick n Pay space.
Shoprite opened its Carlton Centre supermarket in December 2024, and Pick n Pay’s current store data (checked 13 September 2026) has no Carlton Centre site. Old directory listings that show a “Pick n Pay Carlton Centre” are out of date.
